The Coming Home Network is excited to announce the newest book from longtime team member Kevin Lowry of gratefulconvert.com. And given the title, you can see why it would be of interest to followers of our apostolate: it’s called “How God Hauled me Kicking and Screaming into the Catholic Church.”
In his new book, Kevin recounts his experience as a rebellious preacher’s kid who eventually ended up getting kicked out of Franciscan University. After encountering many stumbling blocks along the way, Kevin eventually found himself, first reluctantly, then gratefully, at home in the Catholic Church.
And about that whole rebellious preacher’s kid thing- Kevin’s father also became Catholic, and the two of them recounted their stories together in a 2010 episode of The Journey Home:
