As she listened to Christian radio, and participated in Evangelical Bible studies, Maija Fish began to be troubled at the way good Christian people were interpreting the same passages of Scripture differently. If Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would guide His Church into all truth, then why was there so much confusion? At first, Maija thought the Catholic Church’s claim to teaching authority was arrogance, but the more she studied it, the more it made sense to her.
