Hot off his industry-changing role as the not-Howard K. Stern in the not-Anna Nicole Smith episode of Law & Order, David Cross is once again doing some Serious(!) Acting(!), this time as legendary beat poet Allen Ginsberg in Todd Haynes’ long-awaited Bob Dylan film I’m Not There.
The main hook of the film since it was first revealed is that Haynes is using a whole bunch of actors to play various “incarnations” of Bob Dylan (the running count is Cate Blanchett, Christian Bale, Marcus Carl Franklin, Richard Gere, Heath Ledger and Ben Whishaw). But now, after viewing the below clip, the big story is that David Cross looks EXACTLY like Allen Ginsberg!
