As first reported by our Midwestern sister site, the Blerds have left their wind-ravaged homestead of Chicago and taken their multi-media shenanigans on the road, stopping in our neck of the woods for the next few days.

Tomorrow night, the Blerdses — if that’s the correct pluralization — will be performing in Irvine, famous for being home to both Christian rapcore band East West and burlesque performer Dita Von Teese, whom all Christian rapcore bands probably think is going to hell. The show is at the Improv and features super special guest Doug Benson! (8pm, $15) The following night, the Blerds will be Benson-less night at the UCB.
